Online toolkit
Our toolkit is an interactive, step-by-step guide which includes our complete service redesign methodology to implement a Delivering Choice Programme.
The toolkit offers guidance and tools for:
- Initial set up: Basic structures of the programme – a project team, agreements and partnerships.
- Phase I: Detailed methodology on examining and identifying needs and barriers, including good practice and areas for improvements.
- Phase II: Operational guidelines on developing new service models to meet the needs of patients.
- Phase III: Implementing, monitoring and evaluating new service models.
Expert adviser service
To complement the toolkit, the programme also offers a consultation service from a team of expert advisers from the Marie Curie Delivering Choice Programme.
A dedicated expert adviser will work closely with your team to provide guidance and support throughout all stages of the programme. All our advisers have extensive experience of the programme.
Share our learning
One of the main objectives of the programme is to share findings generated from our projects.
The toolkit provides comprehensive information on service models that have been implemented in our projects, including full operational guidelines, evaluations and other valuable learning.
We are also creating a national online discussion forum for all professionals to share their experience in palliative and end of life care.
